  • After going over the tools we will be using them to draw to reinforce how they work

  • The drawing sessions are simple and easy to follow, anyone can do them

  • One project goes over how we can use the vector brushes to make cartoons and comics.

  • Another project uses layers and the water color brushes to create unique illustrations

  • The third project uses the oil brushes to blend paint and then layer masks to do some hand lettering and effects over it.

  • The Final project takes all the skills we've used up to this point and put them all together in one final complex illustration.

Why Fresco? It's a simple and intuitive painting app and because of its access to so many pre existing Photoshop brushes makes it incredibly powerful too.

Who is this for:

  • People who want to learn to draw but don’t know where to start

It's easy to create vector art in Adobe Fresco on your ipad.

Creating your artwork in vector format gives it incredible versatility. Being able to create vector artwork can open the doors to a lot of different project opportunities as an illustrator. In the past, this was a bit more complicated. But we're not in the past anymore, the future is here!

In Adobe Fresco, drawing in vector is just as easy as working in traditional pixel brushes—like you would in Procreate. In fact, it's actually easier in some ways as a result of an amazing trick called Vector Trimming that I'll show you how to use!

In Adobe Fresco you can create vector artwork easily without having to wrestle with the pen tool in illustrator, mastering the fine art of bezier curves. In this video I walk through my process from sketch to final art on a recent project I worked on including engraved wood graphics, a t-shirt design, custom sticker sheet, and a custom marker.

Are you ready to get started with Adobe Fresco? This video was made for those you that aren't too familiar with Adobe Fresco, but even if you are, I'll be talking about my workflow and giving some tips that I use—so I guess it's for everyone! Follow along with me as I go through the different tools, brush settings, layer options, motion tools and more.

There are a few reasons why Fresco is my preferred drawing app over other apps, like Procreate. { Here's a video that goes deep into that comparison: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2hiEZ-t_Lhs&t=1040s }
Fresco is part of the Adobe Creative suite and works seamlessly with the other apps, like Photoshop and Illustrator. As a professional illustrator I'm almost always dealing with photoshop and illustrator documents as they're the industry standard.

Let me know if you learned anything new, and don't hesitate to ask questions in the comments. I try to respond as quickly as I can! I post new videos every Tuesday—so don't forget to subscribe!
